Heat Balance Module
Using METSIM®‘s extensive thermodynamic database, heat balances can be calculated with ease.Outputs include the heat generated and the heat flows in and out of each unit operation, total heats of a reaction, heats per mole and stream temperatures & enthalpies. Examples of the heat data available for output in tabulated form are below as follows: unit operation heat balance (top); unit operation heats of reaction (middle); and total stream temperatures and enthalpies (bottom).
